A Furnace
A Furnace is a mechanical device that provides heat for melting metals.
An on-going project in Clintonel Innovation Centre is a Propane gas powered crucible furnace designed to melt Aluminium, Tin, Bronze, Brass and Cast Iron.
The Furnace is insulated with a refractory castable cement and a 5mm refractory lining (Fibre glass) with an outer steel cylindrical walls.
